Candy Corn Popcorn Balls Recipe | Mommy Evolution

Candy Corn Popcorn Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 c sugar
  • ½ c corn syrup
  • ¼ t cream of tartar
  • ½ T butter
  • ¼ t baking soda
  • 3 qts popped popcorn
  • ¾ cup candy corn

Directions:

  1. Heat first four ingredients in a saucepan to 270 on your candy thermometer.
  2. Remove from heat and carefully stir in baking soda.
  3. Pour mixture over popped popcorn and toss to coat.
  4. When the popcorn has cooled just a bit (not too long) mix in candy corn and form with buttered hands into 3 inch balls.
  5. Set aside on buttered wax paper to cool completely.
